I qualified from Westminster Hospital, London in 1970, working as a staff nurse in Winsor and Reading Hopistals before joining primary care as a practice nurse in 1982.

I joined minster health in 1997 after moving to North Yorkshire in 1996 with my husband's work.

I'm trained in all aspects of practice nursing but I have a special interest in all respiratory diseases and women's health.

I have two married daughters and my hobbies include amateur dramatics and rambling.
